Make an impact in an industry everyone uses

We’re a group of travel enthusiasts, technologists, artists, foodies, adventure seekers, and most of all, a tight-knit family. Our team is motivated to solve the problem in the travel distribution industry, and we want others who are just as passionate to join our cause.

Do any of these character traits sound like you?

Do you thrive in fast-paced, result-oriented environments where you can actually get your hands dirty building industry-changing technology and cool tools?

Do you get a kick building cool, large-scale web applications and services to show off to your friends?

Are you an agile Jack/Jill-of-all-Trades who can keep an eye on the big picture while managing every step and moving piece of our daily activities and projects?

Have you mastered the subtle art of taking complex, technical content and turning it into engaging and easy-to-understand content of all sorts?

How we work

The Seamless Planet team is a deeply collaborative one. We’re all expected to wear many hats and to stay light on our feet, ready to change our approach or pivot on our strategy at any minute, if need be. We feel strongly about creating a workspace in which each team member can have creative agency and ownership over his or her projects, so you can be proud of the work you do every day. Opinions, ideas and feedback are constantly encouraged – no matter how wild or trivial they may sometimes seem; we’re here to listen, grow and evolve alongside our amazing employees.

Montreal: joie de vivre, poutine, and a festival for everything

Work hard, play hard

Montreal is one of the most affordable cities in North America – it’s reasonable rent, ethnic diversity, vibrant nightlife, public transit and high-quality public services making it one of the most appealing cities in the world.

The city is dominantly french-speaking, but you will hear every language on the streets, and there are numerous festivals celebrating different cultures every summer. With street fairs, fashion and art galleries, this is a city that puts a lot of emphasis on joie de vivre, or joy of living. We have the highest restaurants per capita after New York City—which also happens to be a short enough distance away for a weekend getaway.

We love playing tourist in our town, so join our team and let us show you around!

Our neighbourhood

Just southwest of Montreal’s downtown core, our office in the rapidly developing neighbourhood of St. Henri allow us to enjoy the best of the city’s dynamic and exciting cultural scene. New restaurants, bakeries, pubs and shops are always popping up in the area, alongside local gems, art galleries, cafes and antique shops.

The metro, buses and BIXI bike-share system as well as the relative proximity of everything make for a very pedestrian-friendly and accessible city. Chic Westmount, the canal, the Atwater market and the downtown shopping district are mere minutes away.

At our office building, our next-door neighbour is a massage therapist. There is a fully featured bistro in the building, and a brand-new gym will be opening within the year.

Jazz Fest, Just For Laughs, Francofolies, Montreal Completement Cirque, Formula 1, Picnik Electronik, Igloofest are just among the many, many yearly festivals in the city. Combined with street fairs, touring concerts, and other initiatives, there is more difficulty in choosing what to do!
With Montreal’s relatively low cost of living compared to other North American cities, you can more easily enjoy the events and nightlife, travel, plan for a family, or work on your personal projects. Cheaper rent, condos and hydro electricity put the major expenses lower than many major centres in Canada or the USA.
Montreal truly feels like a cosmopolitan city, despite its population being small compared to other major centres. People from all around the world live, love, work and study here. Because of this, we have a large variety of languages, food, music and cultural events at your fingertips.
For those who lead an active lifestyle or who simply appreciate a retreat now and then from the urban jungle, the city has a number of large parks as well as over a thousand community parks. A camping, hiking or skiing excursion is only a short trip away out of the city.
